Lebanon: Wanted man kills three military intelligence officiers near Ein al-Helweh

The Lebanese army on Thursday announced the death of three military men during a chase of the wanted man Badee Hamadeh, better known as Abu Obeida in al- Hamshari area in Sidon.

Well-informed sources said about that incident -- that a patrol of the Lebanese army intelligence, southern Lebanon branch, became aware following investigation of the hiding place where the wanted Badee Hamadeh is at the house of his wife's family in al-Fawar area, near the American school in Sidon and broke into the house to arrest him and bring him before the jury, because he is wanted, but he was able kill three of the patrol members before he was wounded.

Other news reports said that the Lebanese security patrol became aware of the place of "Abu Obeida" ( of a Palestinian nationality ), and headed to arrest him but was ambushed by Abu Obeida's guards and this resulted in killing the Lebanese sergeants Ali Hamzeh, Ridwan Molhem and Ali Saleh whose corpses were admitted to al-Hamshari hospital.
