Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung: Progress of talks to exchange Israeli- Hizbullah prisoners

Israel on Tuesday abstained from commenting on a German report issued on Tuesday saying that the talks concerning the exchange of prisoners between Israel and the Hizbullah have reached a "promising phase." The German Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung daily said that Israel seeks to release the Israeli Alhanan Tiniboum while the Hizbullah wants to release 100 prisoners held in Israel including 17 Lebanese and the secretary of the Fatah movement in the West Bank Marwan al-Barghuti.
