Arab League welcomes revitalizing of Islamic boycott of Israel

An official source at the Arab League has welcomed decision no 56/29 issued by the foreign ministers of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) which was held at the end of June in Khartoum on abiding by the boycott rules against Israel.

In a statement to the Syrian daily Tishreen, the source said that based on the invitation extended from the 68th conference of the officers of the Arab regional liaison offices for boycotting Israel, held in Damascus on April 28- 30 to the OIC General Secretariat ( the Islamic office for boycott ) to convene a conference for specialists at boycott affairs in the Islamic states in order to study means of revitalizing boycott measures against Israel, the OIC foreign ministers conference in its 29th session "of solidarity and dialogue" decided to assign the Islamic bureau for boycotting Israel at the OIC to invite for convening a conference for technicians and specialists in the Islamic countries to study means of revitalising boycott measures against Israel.
