Nearby meeting between Bashir, Garang and Meirghani

It was disclosed in al-Khartoum on Sunday that a tripartite meeting will be held shortly between the Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir, the leader of the rebels of southern Sudan John Garang and Muhammad Othman al-Meirghani, the chairman of the coalition of the opposition parties abroad, the chairman of the federal party.
Moreover a joint committee representing the conflicting sides will meet to discuss issues under conflict.
Meantime, both Sudan and Eritrea agreed to revitalize works of the joint committees in the security, political and economic fields. This was expressed in a joint statement issued on Sunday in conclusion of the talks held by the secretary general of the ruling party in Asmara with the ruling Congress Party in Khartoum.
The Sudanese dailies issued on Sunday in Khartoum said the tripartite meeting will be held after the joint committee meeting between the ruling party and the opposition coalition by the end of this July.
To this effect, the Sudanese daily al-Rai said that all these moves come in the framework of efforts made by Eritrea to bring in the Sudanese different factions.
