Sharon's secret envoy to Washington to revitalize Bush's speech on ME peace

Israeli forces said on Friday that the Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon delegated secretly an envoy to Washington in order to hold talks with officials at the US administration on means of revitalizing the speech of the US President George Bush concerning the region.

The Israeli radio quoted the sources as saying that these talks were good and contacts to coordinate stances between Washington and Tel Aviv will continue.

The sources said that the political plan which Sharon talked about is the same plan crystallized before a long time which states to reach gradual peace in stages.

The source added that the plan states on the need of what he called settling the security conditions in the first phase and halting the Intifada totally and in the second phase fundamental and genuine reforms will be made in the establishments of the Palestinian authority as a precondition to achieve a progress with the Palestinians.
