Nigerian Arrested with Over One kilogram of Morphine in His Stomach

A 20-year old Nigerian national was arrested recently in the airport of Casablanca in the possession of 1.19 Kg of Morphine.
The Nigerian man had swallowed the banned substance in his bid to honor a contract he had stricken in Pakistan with another African national. The drug was to be channeled to Benin.
The smuggler said he worked for six years in Pakistan before choosing this much easier and profitable, but much more hazardous way of making a living.
He will stand trial for charges of international drug trafficking and importation of banned goods.
