Arab follow up committee meets in Cairo on July 11, 12

The Secretary General of the Arab League Amre Mousa has stated that the follow up committee that emerged from the recent Arab summit held in Beirut will hold its meeting on July 11 and 12 with the participation of its member states represented by their foreign affairs ministers.

In statements he made in Cairo on Tuesday Moussa added that the committee will discuss the implementation of the resolutions of the recent Arab summit in held In Beirut, as well as various developments in the region and the Arab position towards the content of the recent speech made by the US President concerning peace in the region.

Worthy mentioning that the Arab follow up committee includes the foreign ministers of each of Syria, Lebanon. Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Yemen, Jordan, Tunisia, Oman and Morocco as well as the chairman of the PLO political department and the AL chief.
