Agreements by the Arab financing projects program

The program in charge of Arab trade financing signed in its 50th meeting on Monday in Abu Dhabi agreement on credit lines with its national agencies estimated at USD 197 million for a period of 4 months.

During the meeting, the program, which was presided over by Director General Chairman of the Board of the Arab Monetary Fund Jassim AL Mannai reviewed money transfer activity from February until May of this year 2002.

During this period of time, the program received credit lines applications to finance trade deals estimated at USD 146 million.

However, value of requests the program received since the beginning of its operations in 1991 reached USD 3.7 billion while credit line values so far approved reached USD 2.6 billion.
