Al-Qabas: Abd Rabbu denies Maareve's statements

Palestinian Authority information and culture official Yasser Abd Rabbu has denied what was published by the Israeli daily Maareve that the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat has voluntarily accepted to give up the presidency and to resort to Cairo on the ground that he will be succeeded by Abd Rabbu.
In a statement to the Kuwaiti daily al-Qabas in its Monday's issue he attributed the news to Israeli plots against the Palestinian Authority.
