Jordan bans selling lands to Israelis
Jordan-Israel, Politics, 7/1/2002
The Jordanian real estate department has stressed that its new law bans selling the lands for persons who carry the Israeli identity.
The department's acting secretary Ghazi Shantawi said in a press statement in Amman on Sunday that the Jordanian cabinet has the right to permit diplomatic missions accredited in Jordan to own lands for serving its work, but this will be under the condition that its country will behave the same with the Jordanian diplomatic missions.
