Jordanian missing in Israel
Jordan-Israel, Politics, 7/1/2002
Sources of the committee of families of missing persons said that number of Jordanian missing in Israel increased to 19 since the June 1967 attacks and Israel still persists not to recognize them.
The chairman of the committee Ateyah Freij said that the committee will continue its efforts to this effect, noting that his son Muhammad Freij is in the list of the persons missed since 1967. Freij urged officials and sides concerned to follow up this issue and to inform the relatives of the missing on their fate of their children.
Many of the missing relatives stressed, according to well-informed sources, that their children are in the Israeli jails.
