One Palestinian killed, 9 wounded, 10 Palestinian houses demolished

The Israeli forces backed by tanks and helicopters broke into Azmout village in Nablus and intensified its bombardment of Hebron which is the 7th Palestinian city to be reoccupied by Israel in a declared plan which is to stay in the Palestinian territories until the Intifada and the "suicide operations" are stopped.

For the second running day, the Israeli forces continued its siege and curfew in Hebron where the Israeli forces besiege the municipality headquarters and bombard its surroundings by Apache planes missiles and this resulted in more damages inflicted in the surrounding buildings.

In Qalqilya the Israeli soldiers opened fire at a market on the center of the city as a result three were wounded including a 10 year old child. One Palestinian was shot in Balatah camp for the Palestinian refugees in Nablus when the Israeli forces opened fire at stone throwers.

The Israeli tanks stormed into Rafah camp for the refugees to the south of Gaza and demolished ten houses and wounded six in a fire exchange with the Palestinian resistance men.

In retaliation the Palestinian Intifada youths detonated an explosive in an Israeli patrol near al-Fareha camp. Nablus district and opened fire at two Israeli positions in Natsareim and Belin settlements in Gaza and as a result one Israeli soldier was wounded as he was hit by stones in the old city of Jerusalem.

Meantime, a Palestinian source said that contacts between the Palestinians and the Israelis started on Thursday evening concerning the Palestinians who are besieged by the Israeli forces at the headquarters of the Palestinian Authority in Hebron.

The chairman of Hebron municipality Mustafa al-Natsha said that on the Palestinian side the contacts were made by the Palestinian Authority official Talal al- Sader, Ziad al-Sharbakani, a local official at the Fatah movement and Abdul Fattah al-Joushi the official in the local police and Ali Shewed from the liaison office in Hebron.

Al-Natsha said that these contacts were suspended because of the Israeli authorities' rejection to have a representative for the ICRC (Red Cross). The Israeli authorities refuse to give the number of besieged Palestinians while media sources said they count between 12 to 20 persons.
