Fierce clashes continued between Israeli forces, the Palestinians

The Palestinians of the city of Hebron spent their Wednesday night in shelters as a result of the strong Israeli land and air bombardment which continued all Thursday against the civilian areas and targeted the headquarters of the Palestinian Authority and the province's building and the headquarters of the Palestinian police and public buildings and establishment, leaving behind devastated destruction.
The Israeli forces asked all members of the Palestinian police to surrender after it besieged their headquarters, threatening to destroy all buildings they exist in.
The Israeli forces also detained Akram al-Hanini, one leader of the Fatah movement in the city.
The Israeli forces also broke into Jneid prison after it was strongly bombarded by helicopters and tanks artillery and arrested more than 25 members of the Palestinian police who supervise the prison as well as the prisoners. The Israeli forces also arrested 20 members of "force no. 17" which belong to the guards of the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat and also broke into the headquarters of the Palestinian Authority in the city.
One Palestinian youth was shot at Balatah camp in Jenin and 8 Palestinians were wounded by the Israeli soldiers in Rafah, Gaza.
A special group of the Israeli forces disguising in the Palestinian costumes detained a member of the People Front For the Liberation of Palestine near Bethlehem.
Palestinian security sources said that members of the said Israeli group arrested Nidal Abu Aker ( 33 year old) in one of the oil stations.
The Israeli forces also arrested 500 Palestinian in the areas adjoining the line separating the West Bank and the Palestinian territories under the pretext of not getting necessary licensing. Some 21 of them were brought before the court for trial.
The Palestinians threw an explosive at an Israeli military vehicle near beit Sahour, near jerusalem.
The Israeli radio said that a fire erupted in the vehicle and resulted in damaging it.
