Israeli bombardment result in large fires in south Lebanon

The Israeli forces on Thursday set fire in the woods surrounding Bastara farm and Kafer Shouba town through firing "burning" machine gun fires from its position in al-Sammaqa in the occupied Shebaa farms.
Lebanese security sources said that the fire burnt vast areas and expanded until the eastern surrounding of Kafer Shouba and Shebaa farms.
The sources added that scores of the Lebanese civil defense members and citizens worked for 10 hours in fighting the fire.
Meantime, the Israeli army forces carried out fortifications operation of its position in Tallet al-Sammaqa as Israeli trucks and bulldozers were seen building a fence at the western side of the position while other fortification acts were carried out inside the monitoring position which overlooks the town of Shebaa.
Meanwhile and during the week from June 18 through 24 the Lebanese national resistance recorded 36 Israeli violations of the Lebanese sovereignty.
In a statement released on Thursday, the resistance said that the Israeli air violations numbered 19, 11 sea violations while land violations numbered 8.
Thereby total Israeli violations of the Lebanese sovereignty tolled since June 17, 2000 some 4897 violations.
