Omran confers with Dubai media delegation, CNN chief

The Syrian Minister of Information Adnan Omran on Thursday received Sheikh Hasher Bin Maktoum, the chairman of the media department in Dubai. United Arab Emirates and members of the accompanying delegation.
Discussions dealt with media cooperation between Syria and Dubai in the course of the cooperation media relations that exist between Syria and the UAE.
On Thursday evening, the minister received chief news executive and newsgathering president for the CNN News Group Easen Jordan.
Discussions dealt with several political and media issues and the need of ensuring objectivity in introducing the news when covering events in the region.
