Fierce fighting in Hebron, Ramullah

Strong clashes took place on Wednesday in Hebron and Ramullah and in several areas in Gaza between the Palestinians and the Israeli forces.

News reports said that a 6- year old child was killed in Jenin and others were wounded, while similar clashes took place between the Palestinians who were defending the headquarters of the Palestinian authority in Hebron and the Israeli forces. Israel's incursion into the area on Wednesday resulted in arresting 40 Palestinians, 15 are from the surrounding of the Palestinian headquarters.

News reports indicated that the Palestinian resistance men are holding inside the Palestinian authority headquarters in Hebron several Palestinians accused of collaborating with the Israeli forces and that the Israeli tanks and bulldozers demolished the entrance of the headquarters in order to roll into it.

In Ramullah, the Israeli forces continued bombardment of the headquarters and establishments of the Palestinian authority and demolished several houses surrounding the Palestinian offices and burnt them fully, displaced the families and warned the persons who are besieged at the Palestinian authority headquarters to surrender and blocked entrances of buildings after cutting water and electricity supplies so as to force the families to leave out.

Nablus also witnessed a campaign of arrest by the Israeli forces included one senior member of the People's Front for the Liberation of Palestine Mahmoud Asad.

In Gaza the Israeli tanks opened fire at a group of citizens in Beit Hanoun and destroyed by mortars several houses in Rafah as well as launched a campaign of arrest that covered 14 Palestinians after blowing off their houses and also uprooted olive trees in tens of dunnums of cultivated lands.

The Palestinian Intifada youths retaliated to the Israeli attacks by opening fire at a position for the Israeli forces near Atismonah settlement in Gaza and others detonated four explosives in an Israeli military force near Balatah camp and fired bombs at an Israeli position near Natsareim settlement.
