Sherry Blair: suicide operations show the Palestinians lost hope

Sherry Blair, wife of the British Prime Minister Tony Blair said on Tuesday that the Palestinian youths have the impressions that "there is no hope to defend their cause" except by suicide operations.

Blair said in a reaction to the "suicide operation" carried out on Tuesday in Jerusalem as far as the Palestinians feel they no longer have a hope in the progress of their cause except to blow off themselves, there will be no possible progress.

Blair was talking at the beginning of a campaign for the charity society "medical aid for the Palestinians" with the participation of the Jordanian Queen Rania.

In reply, the foreign affairs official at the conservative party opposition Michael Ankram immediately denounced these statements which he described as "very regrettable and humiliating for the families of the victims."
