Jordan stops all tourism promotion activities with Israel

The Jordanian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Taleb al-Refai has announced the suspension of all joint tourism promotion activities with Israel because of the prevailing political conditions in the region.
In a meeting organized by the media forum in Amman al- Refai stressed that there is a strategy for tourism integration between Jordan, Syria and Lebanon.
He said that his ministry is currently studying the idea that Jordan will study the idea of organizing an Arab regional tourism exhibition, noting that it was agreed with Syria and Lebanon to prepare a common map for tourism sites in the three states and to organize joint tripartite exhibitions as well as to unify efforts to take part in international tourism activities, festival and conferences.
