Bin Ali to visit Libya

The Tunisian presidency announced that the Tunisian President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali will pay a visit to Libya that will last for two days at the invitation of the Leader of the Revolution Colonel Muammar al Qathafi, days before the convening of the Arab Maghreb summit.
The same source added that the "fraternity and work" visit falls in the course of strengthening relations of cooperation between the two states. Each of Tunisia and Libya are members in the Arab Maghreb Union which also includes Algeria, Morocco and Mauritania.
Ben Ali's visit to Libya coincides with the approaching date of the Arab Maghreb Union due to be held in Algiers on June 21 and 22. It will be held with the absence of the Moroccan King Muhammad VI.
