Israeli government starts erection of wall to isolate the West Bank

With the beginning of Israel's implementation of the executive phase of the wall separating the West Bank and the territories occupied in 1948 ( Israel), the Israeli forces continued their attacks against the Palestinians as a result of which many Palestinians were killed or wounded.

Witnesses said that the Israeli forces opened fire at a Palestinian while he was trying to cross a check-point near Nablus and he was shot immediately, while two other Palestinians were wounded when the Israeli soldiers opened fire at their car in Rafah.

Meantime, Israeli military sources admitted the killing of two Israeli soldiers and wounding of other four in an attack carried out by the Palestinian youths at "Doughit " settlement on Saturday evening, while the spokesman for the Israeli ministry of defense announced that works of constructing the wall separating the West Bank from Israel started practically on Thursday and that trucks and bulldozers started works near the Palestinian Salem city. He explained that the process of building the separation wall has actually started as from the said village towards the south of Majido area to the north of the West Bank and will end in Jiffer valley to the south while the second phase will include areas near Jerusalem where Palestinians areas and villages will be isolated from its surrounding towards Jerusalem.
