One month imprisonment for 20 sub-Saharan illegal immigrants

A tribunal in Kenitra (40 km north of Rabat) recently sentenced 20 sub-Saharan African nationals to a suspended sentence of one month imprisonment each for illegally entering Morocco.
The undocumented immigrants, bound for Europe through Spain, were arrested in Kenitra outskirts, the police said.
The group is made up of 11 nationals from Sierra Leone, three from Mali, one from the Ivory Coast, two Liberians, a Gambian, a Senegalese, and a Nigerian.
