Bin Ali receives the Moroccan prime minister
Tunisia-Morocco, Politics, 6/14/2002

A Tunisian official source has announced that the Tunisian President Zein al-Abidin Bin Ali on Thursday discussed with the Moroccan prime minister Abderrahmane Youssoufi the issue of the Arab Maghreb federation, the situation in the Middle East and relations with the European Union.

In conclusion of the meeting, Youssoufi said he has conveyed a "verbal message" from the Moroccan King Muhammad VI, but he did not disclose the content of the message.

The Moroccan prime minister has been visiting Tunis on the occasion of the meeting of the joint cooperation committee which will be held 10 days prior to the Arab Maghreb federation summit ( Algeria, Libya, Morocco, Mauritania and Tunisia) due to be held on June 20 and 21 in Algiers.

Al-Yousefi commended the efforts made by the Tunisian president to revitalize the establishments of the Arab Maghreb federation.
