30 new Israeli violations of south Lebanon, Lahoud confers with Japanese envoy

Lebanese President Emil Lahoud on Wednesday in Beirut discussed with the special envoy for the Japanese envoy Tatsoa Areema, accompanied by the director of the political affairs department at the Japanese foreign ministry the situation in the Middle East and bilateral relations.

The Lebanese president noted Lebanon's position concerning regional developments and the need of implementing the recent Arab initiative in order to solve the conflict in the Middle East.

Meantime, in a statement, the Lebanese national resistance said that Israel made 30 violations of the Lebanese sovereignty between June 4 through 10.

The statement added that the Israeli war planes violated the Lebanese airspace 21 times while 8 sea violations and one land violation were scored.

The statement added that the number of the Israeli violations of the Lebanese sovereignty reached 4827 violations since Israel's withdrawal from the greater parts of the Lebanese territories in the south and the western Bekaa.
