Syrian swimmers honored for crossing the British Canal

President Bashar al-Assad on Wednesday at the Damascus Presidential palace received the remarkable Syrian swimmers, 3 brothers, Firas Mu'alla; Humam Mu'alla, Mus'ab Mu'alla and Rudeinah Mu'alla on the occasion of crossing to and from the British Canal setting a record time .
The president congratulated Mu'alla swimmers for attaining their sport achievement which makes the name of Syria prominent in international sport forums.
He noted the importance of following up such achievements and scoring advanced ranks in Syrian sports.
Worthy mentioning that Mu'alla brothers were the first world swimming 4- person team who crossed the British Canal and who had records in long- distance world swimming championships, especially in Canada and Asia.
