Israel continues incursion operations in the Palestinian territories, demolishes 7 houses in Jerusalem

The Israeli forces on Tuesday broke into Hassan and Beteir villages to the west of Bethlehem and broke into their houses under the pretext of searching for Palestinian resistance men.

This was, however, preceded by a new incursion by the Israeli forces in Bethlehem and al-Khuder town and al-Dhesisheh camp until the city of Hebron.

Meantime, Ramullah stayed under a tough military siege and curfew measures since last Saturday. On Tuesday, the Israeli forces arrested 60 citizens from Bethlehem on charge of resisting occupation.

Also on Tuesday, the Israeli forces demolished seven houses in Jerusalem at Baher quarters and expelled their owners despite the fact the houses were officially licensed.

Two Palestinians were shot as the Israeli forces were incurring near Khan Younis camp and the breaking in tanks demolished several houses. The Israeli forces also broke into al-Qarrara town to the north of Gaza and arrested several Palestinian youths.

Hamas, movement, on the other hand had announced the death of one of its members Muhammad al-Jamal in al-Nuseirat camp, noting the Israeli forces kept his corpse after he was shot to death.

In a report the al- Sharq radio ( Orient radio) said that the Israeli forces closed all hospitals of the West Bank in the context of its war operations against the Palestinians noting that the US administration seemed to have given the green-light to Sharon's government to intensify the campaign of arrests.

One Palestinian young man stabbed an Israeli soldier in the surrounding of Bab al-Amoud in Jerusalem. The Israeli forces which hurried to the site were unable to arrest him.

The Palestinians also detonated an explosive near a military coach and this resulted in wounding three Israelis and killing two Palestinians.
