Arab League chief confers with British foreign office minister at Shadow government

The Arab League secretary general Amr Moussa on Monday in Cairo discussed with the foreign office secretary at the British Shadow government Michael Angram latest developments of conditions in the Middle East under the continued escalation and the efforts made to reach a just and comprehensive political settlement according to international resolutions and the land for peace formula, for the situation in the Middle East.

Following the meeting, the British official stressed the need of establishing the independent Palestinian state and convincing all sides concerned that this is the rightful direction.

He added that his talks with the Arab League chief also dealt with the situation between India and Pakistan. He expressed his hope that the language of understanding will be used between the two neighboring countries.
