ISESCO, World Congress of Religions for Peace Sign Cooperation Agreement

The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO/based in Rabat) signed in Rabat Friday a cooperation agreement with the New York-based World Congress of Religions for Peace (W.C.R.P).

The agreement provides for the implementation of cultural activities and co-existence, dialogue among religions, civilizations and cultures, holding of conferences and symposia on these issues, publishing joint publications and exchanging information, studies and statistics.

The accord was signed by ISESCO director general, Othmane Altuwaijri, and W.C.R.P secretary general, William Findley, on the fringes of ISESCO's international conference on the protection of Islamic and Christian shrines in Palestine.
