Palestine-Israel, Politics, 6/10/2002
Some 20 Israeli tanks on Sunday broke into Toulkarem to the north of the west bank and opened its shells randomly while other Israeli forces broke into Khan Younis and arrested nine of its citizens.
Earlier, five Israeli soldiers were wounded, two in critical health conditions in Nablus, when a Palestinian youth attacked an Israeli position nor "Teizhar settlement" before he was shot.
The Democratic Front For the Liberation of Palestine claimed responsibility for the attack and said that Ahmad Yasser Hamad from Mseira town near Nablus belongs to the front.
Meantime, a spokesman for the Israeli army said that one Israeli soldier was wounded when fire was opened at him by an Israeli military unit near "Karmi Natsareim" settlement. A matter which reveals the state of unrest among the Israeli army lines. One Israeli settler was wounded when his car was fired at near "Ghoushe Katieve" settlement and the Palestinians also fired nine mortars at Israeli military positions near Gaza.
