Al- Assad confers with Saud al-Faisal

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Sunday evening in Lattakia received the Saudi foreign minister prince Saud al-Faisal. The meeting was attended by the deputy premier and foreign minister Farouk al-Shara'.

Al-Assad got a message from the Saudi crown prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, handed over by foreign minister al-Faisal.

Discussions dealt with the developments of Arab conditions and developments in the occupied Arab territories. The two sides reviewed results of current contacts and consultations on the international arenas concerning the Arab peace initiative which was approved in the recent Beirut Arab summit.

Discussions also dealt with bilateral relations.
