L.E. 20 million to set up museum in Qena, sound and light project in Dendra

Egyptian Minister of Culture Farouk Hosni endorsed the sum of L.E. 20 million to set up antiquities museum in the city of Qena refurbish the Dendra temple and operate the sound and light project there as of next year.
Qena Governor Adel Labib said that the establishment of museum in Qena falls within rejuvenation of antiquities in the Upper Egyptian governorate and link tourism there with Luxor and Aswan by the road and River Nile.
Tourist and recreational projects will be set up to encourage internal and foreign tourism in the area between Qena and the Red Sea, he said, referring to the building of 50 tourist float) hotels on Nile cornice with a length of two kilometers to serve tourism in the South of the Valley governorates, he added.
