Israel: appointing Dani Eyaloun an ambassador in Washington

The Israeli government presidency on Friday appointed Dani Eyaloun, the political advisor for the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon as an ambassador for Israel in Washington.
In this post, Eyaloun will replace David Efery whos term of office ended. The statement indicated that Eyaloun was appointed in an agreement between Sharon and the Israeli foreign minister Shimon Peres. Eyaloun ( 47 year old) studied economic sciences at Tel Aviv university. He served at the armored unit in the Israeli army.
