Arab League, Andalucia region sign cooperation agreement

The Arab League and the autonomous community of the Andalucia (southern Spain) signed in Malaga Tuesday a declaration of intent meant to foster bilateral cooperation in the economic, social and cultural fields.
The accord, signed by speaker of the local parliament, Manuel Chaves, and secretary general of the Arab League, Amr Moussa, stipulates that the two sides will launch intercultural dialogue between the two shores of the Mediterranean.
