Weldheim arrives in Beirut

Former President of the Republic of Austria and former UN secretary general Kurt Weldheim arrived on Wednesday in Beirut on a three day visit to lebanon.
Weldheim will meet during this visit with the Lebanese President Emil Lahoud and with the prime minister Rafiq al-Hariri.
Weldheim will also present a prize carrying his name to a student or a graduate researcher at the Lebanese university who wins the competition on a subject dealing with international relations. This will be in an official celebration to be held at the auditorium of the faculty of dentistry at the Lebanese university on Friday, May 31st.
