Jordan, Italy sign memorandum of understanding

Jordan and Italy on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding according to which the Jordanian government will use revenues from selling foodstuffs offered by Italy with the aim of supporting the state budget through using the revenues in financing developmental projects.
On the Jordanian side the meeting was signed by the minister of planning Bassem Awadullah while the Italian side was signed by Italy's ambassador in Amman.
Jordanian official sides said that Italy provided Jordan during the three past years with food donations at a value of 1.5 million EUROS.
