Ballot centers for Algerian community in Syria; part of legislative elections

The Algerian community in Syria is taking part in the Algerian legislative elections which will start tomorrow, May 30.
However, Syria, especially Damascus occupied a heavy center for these elections as number of the Algerian community is 4,000 living in Syria many of them in Syria since the 19th century when the leader of the Algerian national resistance prince Abdul Qader al-Jazeiri lived in Damascus.
The Algerian embassy in Damascus opened two ballot centers in Damascus and Aleppo in order to facilitate the performance of the Algerian community of its electoral right as it is eligible for 2500 Algeria to take part in the voting for electing members of the Algerian national people's council and electing a member representing the Algerian community in Syria and the Orient.
Worthy mentioning that the media campaign for the legislative elections started on May 9 in Algeria where the Algerian political parties are competing to win the greatest number of parliamentary seats which number 389.
The National Liberation Front party has nominated Hassan Jammam, the secretary general of the international federation of the Arab Trade Union Workers for the membership of the parliament for the Algerian community in the Orient, while the Democratic National Coalition party nominated Muhammad al-Tayeb Mariam, the representative of the Algerian community in the current Algerian parliament.
