Jordan-Regional, Politics, 5/29/2002
The al-Bayader paper issued in the occupied Palestinian territories said Monday issue quoting well-informed church sources in Jerusalem that there is an invitation extended from prince Hassan Bin Talal to convene a religious conference including Muslim, Jewish and Christian men of religion on May 29 and 30th in Amman.
The sources also said that the engineer and programmer of this invitation is Anglican rev. Andrew White from Coventry in Britain, who considers himself as an envoy for the arch-bishop of Canterbury George Kari, who for his part made statements against the Palestinians during the siege of the church of the Nativity by the Israeli occupation army.
