Water strategy till 2017 to be discussed

The strategic Research Unit at Egypt's National Water Research Center has prepared a number of scientific studies in preparation for the water strategies planning till 2017.
Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Mahmoud Abu Zeid said a relevant study was prepared on subterranean water specially on a subterranean water reservoir in the Western Desert.
The Minister added that modern irrigation policies helped to improve the irrigation projects in 250.000 feddans in Beheira and Kafr Al Sheikh.
