More American pressure to close offices of Palestinian organization, Islamic movements in Damascus

The Saudi daily al-Watan said that President Bashar al-Assad has received more American pressures in order to close the offices of the Palestinian Organizations and all Islamic movements in Damascus.
In its Monday's issue quoting an Arab diplomat in Brussels, the paper said Damascus had received direct Israeli threats, noting in this regard to the assassination of Jihad Ahmad Jibril in Beirut.
According to the paper, the source warned against other acts of assassination to be carried out by the Israeli Mossad might target elements in Iran, noting that Iran and Syria are two Israeli targets at the meantime.
