Moussa starts a work visit to Spain

The secretary general of the Arab League (AL) Amr Moussa on Sunday started a work visit to Spain during which he will be meeting with the Spanish foreign minister Josip Picqui and high ranking Spanish officials. Spain has presidency of the rotating presidency of the European Union.

Moussa stressed that this visit will be an opportunity to take part in several key intellectual and political meetings on issues of mutual concern at the international level especially the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and Arab- European relations and means of supporting them in the context of implementing the resolutions of the recent Arab summit and the Arab foreign ministers council meetings on revitalizing European- Arab relations and the dialogue of civilizations file.
