Iraq-USA, Military, 5/27/2002
"Gulf defense sources declared that an unmanned US spy plane was downed in southern Iraq. Dubai TV quoted these sources as saying that the plane was downed on Saturday while it was carrying out aggressive spy sortie in southern Iraq." INA reported today.
Iraqi missile force and anti-aircraft artillery shot during the past months two unmanned planes while they were spying southern Iraq in the so called no-fly zones which were imposed by Washington and London in contradiction with international law, INA reported.
