A secret meeting between Tenet, Haleve

A secret meeting was held last week in Washington between the chairman of the Israeli intelligence department ( the Mossad) Afraem Haleve and the CIA director George Tenet, according to the Israeli daily Yadhout Ahronot.
In its Sunday's issue, Yadhout Ahronot said that the meeting centered on the issue of reforms inside the Palestinian territories.
On the other hand, the Israeli paper said that the Americans last week urged in a message to the Israeli officials to give a guarantee to the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat for the right to return back to the Palestinian territories in case he leaves on a visit to the outside of the Palestinian territories.
