Kuwait for convening the ME peace conference

The first deputy for the prime minister and the foreign minister in Kuwait Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad has announced his country's support for convening an international conference for peace in the Middle East.
In a statement to the Kuwaiti daily al-Rai al-Am issued on Sunday, Sheikh Sabah said that Kuwait is ready to take part in this conference if it is invited to attend it. He also expressed Kuwait's support for the peace initiative of the Saudi crown prince Abdullah, noting that the new ME peace conference will be held to discuss this initiative.
