Egyptian, American parliamentarians meet on ME issues

Members of the foreign relations committee at the Egyptian parliament led by the chairman of the committee Mustafa al-Faqi on Sunday discussed with Darrell Issa and Tom Davis, two members of the US Congress means of revitalizing the American role so as to reach a just and lasting settlement in the Middle East based on international resolutions and the land for peace formula and for the US to start pursuing a balanced policy towards the Arab - Israeli conflict.

The participants in the meeting also discussed several issues at the regional and international arenas, foremost being the situation on the Iraqi arena and the international campaign currently made by the US against what it called terrorism.
