Mubarak receives message from Canadian Prime Minister

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak receives today a message from Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien. The message dwells on inviting President Mubarak to attend the summit of the eight industrialized states due to be held by the end of June in Canada.
The message will be delivered by Canada's Foreign Minister Bill Graham who arrived in Cairo Friday afternoon from Amman on a two-day official visit to Egypt for talks with his counterpart Ahmed Maher on the Mideast situation and means of solving the Palestinian problem.
In Amman the Canadian minister held talks with Jordanian Foreign Minster Marawan Al-Maashar on a host of issues including means of setting up a Palestinian state.
