Palestinian leader visits Morocco

Secretary general of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (FDLP), Nayef Hawatmeh, started Wednesday a visit to Morocco at the invitation of the Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS/former communist party), the PPS daily "Bayane Al Yaoum" reports. Hawatmeh will meet leaders of the PPS and other political parties and Moroccan officials.
The daily says Hawatmeh will be accompanied by editor-in-chief of "Al Hourriya" magazine.
