Arab colloquy on social-professional hardships facing women

An Arab colloquy will be held in Casablanca next June 24-26 to probe "social-professional hardships facing Arab women's in time of globalization."

The colloquy is organized by the Moroccan ministry in charge of women conditions, family, children protection, and integration of handicapped people, in collaboration with the Arab Labor Organization (ALO).

The Arab women action commission, stemming from the ALO, and chaired by queen Rania Abdallah of Jordan, will hold its first meeting on the sidelines of the colloquy.

Governmental delegates, entrepreneurs, trade unions and experts will be attending the Casablanca conference.
