Morocco calls for free return of refugees

Morocco on Wednesday called for the free return of refugees around the world. The freely-consented return is "the most privileged" solution to prolonged situation of refugees around the world, Hilal said, calling for a re-adaptation of the HCR's mandate to better meet the aspirations of the millions of refugees.
The call was made by Morocco's ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva, Omar Hilal, who was addressing an international consultation of the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees (HCR) on refugees' international protection.
The diplomat equally stressed the need to ensure a total respect of the refugees rights.
