Hamas denies meetings with officials in Hizbullah, al-Qaida

The Palestinian national resitance movement Hamas on Tuesday denied media claims which stated that a meeting was held between officials from the movement and al-Qaida organization together with the Hizbullah party and described them as lies.

One of the leading figures in the Hamas movement, Ismael Henaya said that these claims are lies and groundless. They are media fabrications aimed at distorting the image of the resistance movements and putting them under the list to be as " wanted and targeted " under the claim of fighting what is called terrorism in order to serve the security of Israel and perpetuate its occupation of the Palestinian territories.

Henaya stressed that Hamas's struggle is inside occupied Palestine and resisting the usurped Israeli occupation and not outside the boundaries of Palestine.

Last Monday, the American ABC TV claimed that a secret meeting was held by the end of March including officials at al-Qaida organization, the Hamas movement and Hizbullah.
