Tribal conflict in Sudan

The Sudanese police announced that a tribal conflict erupted in Altibet area on Adelah district in the southern Darfour province, southern West Sudan on Sunday and resulted in killing 27 citizens and wounding other 20 as well as burning several villages.
The official spokesman for the police Sayed al-Hussein told the Sudanese daily al-Rai al - Aam issued on Sunday that police forces arrived in the area and controlled the situation emerging from a row between the two tribes of al-Zureiwat and al-Ma'alya on a revenge background.
