The Moroccan culture has always played a pioneer role in backing the Palestinian cause, Palestinian poet Mourid Barghouti said.
Barghouti spoke of the large march staged last April in downtown Rabat to show solidarity with the Palestinian people following the Israeli invasion of their territories. The march was of great moral backing to the Palestinian uprising and struggle against Israeli occupation, he said.
